Here
we have a genuine 1934 Ford 5 window coupe. Not an aftermarket replica
titled as a 1934 Ford. This is the real deal. It was going to be my
retirement project but life is going in a different direction. I
purchased this car several years ago from the son of the man who built
it back in the early sixties and kept it in his possession until the mid
eighties when he passed away. It sat in the son's garage and has not
been operated since then. The front brakes were locked up and I removed
the shoes so it would roll. I also had to unbolt the column drop from
the dash to turn the steering wheel as I don't have a key. I do not
know the condition of the engine and have made no attempt to turn it
over. Could be froze up after all of these years. From my reasearch
and what the seller told me, I believe it to be a 265 ci. out of a 1955
Corvette as it does not have an oil filter. I do not see any evidence
of rust or patch panels anywhere. It does have some damage on the front
fenders and a few little dings here and there but overall appears to be
a very solid original body and sheet metal. The glass is in very good
condition for it's age with none broken or cracked. All of the other
period hot rod stuff speaks for itself. From the Cadillac-La Salle
transmission to the crank driven Stuart Warner tach and everything in
between, this car is a true survivior. I have a clean/clear California
title in my name and my signature alone will release all interest in the
vehicle and make it yours. You will receive exactly what is in the
photos. Nothing more and nothing less.
