BARNFIND 1932 Ford all original Steel, 5-Window Coupe

BARN FIND
1932 Ford all original Steel, 5-Window Coupe / Original Vintage Hot Rod / Show Car

Featured in the September 1959 issue of "CUSTOM CARS", little pages magazine in the "Showtime USA" article.
A show piece of Hot Rod History, cleaned up with a fresh flathead and brakes, car runs and drives but has not been restored.

Early 1950's build out of Decatur, Illinois. Body channeled over original frame with a '48 Mercury Flathead Engine and Judson Supercharger. Original pink and white tuck and roll interior and a lot of chrome. Shown in car shows throughout the Midwest until parked in 1960 with intentions of converting it into a race car. The supercharged engine was replaced with a '51 Mercury powerplant and that is where the project stopped.
The car was located years later sitting in the original barn. Time and conditions took its toll on the lacquer paint and overall condition but still a very presentable piece of historic hot rodding. Body is straight and solid.

Sold with old Illinois Title...

The original '48 Mercury Flathead with vintage original Fenton Heads Chrome Oil Pans and Filter, Chrome 97 Carb and Judson Supercharger is available. Internal condition of the engine is unknown.

This crusty old hot rod draws a crowd at shows whenever it goes out!
