This
is a real deal old hot rod 1932 Ford coupe. I bought it from the guy
who bought it in 1962 in San Francisco and it had already been hot
rodded at that point. The pearl tuck and roll interior was done in
Tijuana. The dash and garnish moldings were chromed. The red paint that
you see on it today was on the car when the previous owner bought it
way back in 1962. Fresh built "cookie cutter" 32's are a quite common.
This is not that. I wanted to preserve this car as a glimpse into the
past. The engine was gone so I sourced a used 327 Chevy engine and 5
speed transmission to make it run and drive again.
This is a
truly rare car as well as a rare opportunity to purchase a car like
this. It's not chopped, it's not channeled, and has an amazing patina
and hot rod past. There just aren't many 1932 Ford coupes that have
survived like without being stripped and turned into a modern street
rod. Further, of the ones that do still exist like this, few are
actually able to be bought. When this came up for sale I knew it was a
"now or never" opportunity. I hope someone who really appreciates it for
what it is ends up with it.
The car has a correct 1932 Ford
title with the original numbers matching the frame, which is a very rare
find in itself as those are often rusted away.
***Now for
important terms and conditions*** Just as the car "is what it is", so
are my terms. If you can't meet the terms, then you cannot buy it. I
will sell only in the US lower 48 states. I am not willing to sell out
of the country or deal with shipping, etc. The car must be paid for in
full within 3 days. This means if you don't have the funds readily
available, do not agree to buy it or bid. I will only accept payment via
cash in person or bank to bank wire transfer. The car will not leave
until my bank has verified the funds. After my bank has adequately
verified this for me, the title can then be signed over to the buyer and
the buyer will be allowed to take the car. The car must be picked up
within 7 days after payment has been verified. I made a video telling
the story of the car and will add the link below. Please watch it in its
entirety and then contact me to set up a time to come check the car out
in person at 318 452 2048. I'm located in Alexandria, Louisiana.

This is just a summary of what is on this car.
This car started its life as a 4 dr sedan. I have spent 3 years of my life in a small 2 car garage aganizing over every minute detail of this car to try and build the ultimate hardcore traditional hot rod in the true spirit of hot rodding. I have driven all over north America collecting every screw for this car. Most of the peices i collected were in old chrome. It has been featured here on the hamb https://www.jalopyjournal.com/?p=32719 and on the cover of canadian hotrod magazine. It also won the cavalier car club pick at the grand national rodaster show
The car runs and drives great. everything on it works. I sat down beside it one evening and added up the parts on it at fair market value and they exeeded what i am asking for the car. Technically you could part this car out and make money. Cars like this font come for sale often if at all.
