1955 Buick Super "Series 50"

If you love the 50's you will love the Buick. In my opinion, more attractive than the Chevy, one of the best designs of the 50s, and really turns heads when out in public. I'll try and describe this car to the best of my ability, and leave nothing to the imagination. I love the car, but i need to go in a different direction with what I'm doing now, so all cars must go.

MECHANICAL:

This car, once outfitted with a 322Nailhead and dynoflow has been swapped out with a strong, rebuilt 455ci/400TH from a 71 Buick Electra. It was given a performance RV cam, aluminum 4v Intake, forged pistons, balanced & blueprinted. I've had a 56 Buick with a 322 nail-head and as a person that has had both drive-trains, I can say with experience that the 455 is the best upgrade for this car, that still keeps the Buick core. It does have HEI ignition, Modern AC from Luckys Rod shop, Live wire spark plug wires, MSD ignition components, new spark plugs, and a modern wire harness from "American Autowire". If you know about Buicks, swapping a nailhead is not like most cars. To swap engine, you must go from Engine all the way back to the rear end. That was professionally done, and the rear end was swapped with a 10 bolt rear-end w/Coil Springs and 4 link suspension. Front end suspension was swapped with a 71 Nova front suspension clip "pro installed" Front brakes are disc, and the rear is still drum, but stops as it should. It has a beefy aluminum radiator, external transmission cooler, and stays cool even in this Texas heat. 2 pumps of the gas in the morning and it fires up every time and idles smooth. Mechanically, if you wanted to take the chance, this car could be a daily driver... I personally would not take the chance with fear of getting hit.

INTERIOR:

The interior is perfect, with no flaws to speak of. All the gauges work, and are crystal clear to read. Carpet is perfect with no fading. Interior has absolutely no wear at all. The only thing that does not work is the radio and the clock, but both look nice and are in place. I have the CD player hidden inside the grill where the speaker was. The dash and door panels are all painted and color matched to the exterior paint quality. Very comfortable seats, with custom console on floor that is tastefully done. The trunk was done to match the interior and equally looks just as nice. This interior is a 10/10 in my opinion.

EXTERIOR:

The Exterior is a beautiful two tone Black and gold of very good quality. No rust or scratches to speak of. All chrome has been re-chromed and perfect. The body has some custom touches to it to give its own unique look. It has 56 Chrysler Taillights, 54 Mercury headlight rings, and Shaved Door handles/french antenna. All glass is crystal clear and windshield is perfect. The driver side door window does have a crack, but I do have a replacement and might be installed before its sold. If I don't get around to it, the glass will come with the car, as I did locate a new one. It really is a beautifully done car that you will not see another just like it. If I can get it on a lift, I can take pictures underneath, but you will be hard pressed to be disappointed.
